Laundrie, 23, remains a person of concern in the disappearance of his fiancee Gabby Petito, whose death in a Wyoming national park was ruled a homicide. It is unclear if Laundrie, who traveled in a pickup truck in July with Petito through the region of the Rocky Mountains, it is located in the state of Florida.

On Monday, it was announced that the FBI officially took the lead in the search for Laundrie. His parents were reportedly last seen on September 14, who did not cooperate with the search.

One of the top locations for the search has been Carlton Reserve, an approximately 25,000-acre preserve in Sarasota County, Florida, but extensive searches have yielded no results.

Fox News has frequently interviewed Duane Chapman, also known as "Dog the Bounty Hunter."

Chapman has responded to a tip that Laundrie and his parents were camping at “FortFuerte Histórico De Soto” from September 1-3 and September 6-8. This tip suggests that he may have been there instead of the “swamp” of Carlton Reserve, driving authorities away from their actual location for days.

“They were registered, they went through the door. They are on camera. They were here, ”Chapman told Fox News Monday night. “We think that at least if he's not here right now, we're sure he was caught on camera when he walked through the door, that he was surely here. Not in the swamp. "

Chapmandijo told Fox News that he was informed that Laundrie's parents were seen leaving the camp, but without Laundrie.

"Apparently what we're hearing is that two people left on the 8th. Three people came on the 6th, and two people left on the 8th. I think he's been here for sure," Chapman said.

But Chapman's tip may not lead to Laundrie. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office told a Fox affiliate in Tampa that there are no confirmed leads or sightings of Laundrie at Fort De Soto Park.

A post on Petito's Instagram page showed Laundrie and her at the location tagged.de.Infobarcelona.cat Brief news.
